This vintage horse charm necklace has a posh-luxe vibe and looks awesome with a white blouse or RL sweater. This is a timeless and unique piece that would be perfect for an equestrian lover or polo playing prep! The larger blue and brown charms consist of German glass faceted stones from the 1960’s that are gold foiled in the back. I believe that the vintage brass horses in the front were attached with a strong adhesive. The smaller red, rectangular stones are similar in origin, but they are from the 1950’s and the horses are etched and then hand painted in gold. Dangling beneath the red horse charms are tiny, garnet-red Swarovski circular stones. The focal horse component in the center consists of a hollow back horse head brass charm that I backed with a tan felt fabric so that it does not scratch the skin. The horse head is approximately 1 and 1/2 inches in height and 1 and 1/4 inches in width. All settings are brass, including the lobster style clasp. The total length of this vintage brass chain (1980’s) is approximately 16 and 1/2 inches. (It can be lengthened upon request)
