These earrings feature Frida’s 1940 self- portrait dedicated to Dr. Eloesser, in which she is wearing the sterling silver hand earrings that were given to her by Picasso. These earrings, however, are made of a light plastic material and have a resin coating on the front. The Frida bust is approximately one inch long and the total length of the earrings is about 2 inches. The earrings are finished with small glass Czech beads and silver plated (nickel-free) hardware and ear wires. Note: The backs of the earrings are an unfinished white plastic.
