Dreamland's trendsetting 1930's cinema led the way in design while the ballroom became famous for dancing and big name music concerts. Its restaurants fed tens of thousands enjoying their bean feast outings. Later on, Dreamland would hold its own as an exciting theme park. Margate's renewed popularity in recent years has helped Dreamland to turn a corner amid hopes that more restoration work can continue.
