Description A loom-woven scarf designed and made by the Whitstable-based weaver and artist Lola McDowell. This scarf is from Lola's Blue Waves collection. The contrasting fibres used in this design reflect the movement of waves whilst keeping you warm against the sea breezes. It is woven with wool (80%) and mixed fibres (20%), for comfort, warmth, and durability, and has a soft textural feel. It is 20cm wide and it's length is 172cm long including the fringing. Care instructions: Wash by hand in warm water, do not wring. Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble-dry. To accentuate the ripple effect, squeeze when damp. Can be pressed with a cool-medium irorn if protected by a damp cloth. Being artisan-made and using natural materials all of Lola's woven scarves are unique so some small size variations are to be expected, and our measurements are approximate.
