The silver coloured inner surface reflects heat and light. In cold weather, it reflects the heat and light. The Loue is a wedge-shaped cloth which is sewn in a circle at the front and at the back, which is either tuned to a wooden pole or stretched over the top corner of the wood with string. The hemispherical back is fixed to the ground by pegs.The shaped loue described has been used by forest walkers for more than 80 years.
