Portrait of Woman with Orange and Green Velvet Dress Decorative Box (Copy)

This rectangular decorative box features an image of Marie Antoinette in a red dress.  The image is actually an engraving done by Charles Emmanuel Patas.   The fabric top lid is framed with a twisted, sparkly, gold trim.  The sides of the top are covered with a white and gold trim with white tassels surrounding the outside lid.  The inside of the top of the box is lined with a thin, red and whited striped, vintage looking wallpaper printed on cardstock.    The bottom of the box is lined with a black and white Damask print, felt material.   The outside of the box is painted with a dark, blood red acrylic paint and is bordered with a shiny gold trim with tassels circling the sides of the box. The dimensions of this rectangular box are 3.5 inches x 2.5 inches x 1.5 inches.   (Please understand that these boxes are NOT perfect.  They may have some stray paint on the inside lid or the ribbon may not be evenly adhered.  The fact that they are handmade makes them unique,  and adds to the vintage/antique vibe.   I hope you enjoy this decorative cardboard box to store your favorite jewelry piece or treasured trinket.  They also make great gifts either on their own, or to put a special gift inside.)
